Go to Strategize (our internal strategy wizard) and click Continue until you arrive at Develop a Vision (or click Who We Are, Vision).
Introduction #
A vision statement serves as the cornerstone of strategic planning, providing an organization with a clear direction and ultimate goals and articulating aspirations and values. A well-defined organizational identity is critical to inspire and aligning your leaders and employees toward successfully implementing your strategy. It is part emotional, intending to inspire people to imagine a better future, and part rational, presenting a view of the future that everyone can believe in. A vision statement answers these key questions:
- What does success look like for our organization?
- How will the world be different if we succeed in our mission? (What do we hope our organization ultimately achieves?)
- What makes our organization unique?
