As your organization determines its Strategic Objectives, your work will naturally support these larger organizational objectives. All these goal levels are linked together. Within StrategyFrog, a higher-level item is referred to as the “Parent.” The lower-level item is referred to as the “Child.” The diagram below provides a hierarchy of how these goal levels work together, and the example illustrates the “Parent-Child” relationship.

Linda Smith is responsible for expanding the client base in the Northeast. This is a Strategic Initiative for her organization. Paul Miller reports to Linda and is tasked with improving their social media presence in the Northeast by 20% to help grow sales. This is an Objective for Paul.
